The Ant
This brooch is inspired by the beauty of nature, the unique forms of gemstones, and the stories they can tell through design. The fire opal on the tail was the starting point. Ever since I purchased it, I knew I wanted to create something special. When I came across images of honeypot ants, I immediately saw the connection — and designed this piece around that idea.
